    Jackplate Adjustment

I tried adjusting my jackplate this weekend, since I had my prop B/B from Mark, I wanted to play around with the set-up. I loosened the 4 bolts on the side of the plate and started to crank on the center screw, but nothing happened. The center plate started to flex downward, but the motor didn't budge. Was there another bolt that I missed? Or is the plate just "frozen" where it's at, since it hasn't been moved? The gentleman I bought the boat from this spring, said he never made any adjustments to the plate while he owned it. I've adjusted plates before on my Rangers, but they were Rite Hite plates. Not familiar with this one.

Can someone tell me what I need to do?

    Thanks.

Thats should be all you need to do I would start sparying it with WD-40 this week Everday and then try it in the garage friday night you may have to hit it with a rubber hammer once also, but I think the WD-40 on it for a few days will do the trick

I had this same problem on my ZX202. WD-40 took care of it. Be careful, because the engine may lean to oneside. So measure both sides. I haven't had this problem on my 05 ZX225. Good luck!
