Im putting a 300xs on my 2200 Gambler and would like to know what is best prop for me to buy? Keep in mind I fish, so need a hole shot and best mph I can get. Also my boat doesnt have trim tabs.

Do you think it will be good with 1.62 gear?
I have a 2100 with a 300XS. I run a 28 BRAVO 1 (lab finished) and a 29 BRAVO XS (shop finished). Both run well but I think the 29 is better all around. Good hole shot...with tabs..awsome midrange...84.2 best top end. If I wasn't such a chicken s*#t I know there's more. All this talk about blowout and such, I'll keep my foot out of it LOL.

You have to have the sportmaster on that monster. You will be MUCH LESS LIKELY to experience blow out with the sportmaster lower unit.
+1 Low Slung... he has a good amount left in that monster he has!
My boat is a 2200 with 300xs 1.65 gear case no trim tabs. Looking to buy a prop but want advise on what to buy . pitch ect even if I need to buy a new one and send it to get worked thats ok.
Would a 26 Bravo be too small for this app Dave?
Also lower is a sportmaster
I'm gonna keep the props I have. I would like to try a worked 30 but none to borrow. My motor has a 1.75 Sporty for what it's worth.
