I Had the opportunity to finally run my new 2200/300xs this last week. I have about 10 hrs on the boat but have not had the chance to get some solid numbers on it. I am running the new Pro ET 28 with a 1:75 sportmaster LU. We were fishing a tournament and the water was smooth with a 20 mile ride to our spot, with no wind and 69 degree water temp. These numbers are fully loaded, 55 gal gas, full ice chest two men, no water in livewells. The top was 83.8 at 5800 RPM. The jack plate was at 6. I took the boat in today to have the motor raised to the 4th hole, it is in the 3rd (from top). While raising the plate I never reached the point where the RMP started climbing with a loss of MPH, so I think the motor can still go higher. I was suprised at the RPM level. I expected to turn the 28 5900 plus.
I knwo that ther are a few guys here that are running the 2100/300, ETcombos, what hole is the engine mounted in and where are you running the plate?
The ET prop is impressive. After fishing 4 tournament days this past weekend with it I can say that It can carry a load, it is fast, the hole shot is the best I have had with any prop, the prop never breaks loose, even in a very sharp slow turn. If ther is any fault it is not the best prop at an idle, it just dosent push much water, if that is important to anyone. If you get in an idle race you are going to get beat![]()
