Many of you have responded to my questions about the performance of my 2200, 330XS performance concerns and for all the help I thank you again. For those that have a 2200 with the 300XS and Sportmaster Gearcase with 1.6 gears you will probably appreciate this information. I purchased a Bravo 1, Lab Finished 26 pitch prop from Scott Jordan at Jordon Marine in Vidor Texas. This was a prop that he had tested on a Champion Bass Boat. We installed the prop and ran it in his test lake. From the first instant during the hole shot I could not believe it was the same boat. The hole shot and acceleration was at least 75% better than the previous Trophy Props. The lake was no more than 150 yards long and the boat went 65mph and had enough space to do a 180 and back to WOT. The next day I went to a lake that was large enough to stretch her out. With the boat loaded heavy with fishing gear, soaked with rain, two people, 1/2 tank of fuel, 98 degree temperature, 99% humidity, 87 degree water the boat jumps out the hole, accelerates hard and ran 82 MPH at 6050RPM. At 82 on my digital GPS speedo the boat was still accelerating and there was way more trim and engine height left. At that point we were entering a restricted zone and had to shut down. As water conditioned allowed I ran it 80 to 82 effortlessly on two more burst. This is definently a great combination. To some of you this is not on the outstanding performance list but it is a huge improvement for me. A special thanks goes to UNGOTZ for suggesting and confirming and that I should try this propellar. Also another very special thanks to Mike Horne's coaching and support. Mike's Gambler is for sale and is one fast and beautiful boat.
