I have a new Vmax HPDI 200 motor with about 3 hrs. It started idling between 1100 and 1400 RPM's yesterday. Any suggestions or things to check before I take it to the dealer?
Thanks

Probably caused by the motor breaking in but not real familiar with that motor and whether the idel is adjusted by the computer or not. Look in you owners manual if it's adjusted by a screw turn that screw about an eighth to a quarter turn out and try that.

That's what I was thinking also about being broken in. I will check the owner's manual again. I didn't see anything the first time. Anyone else have this issue?
Mine idled high also. I adjusted the throttle position sensor, and closed the idle screw and it got better, but it still seems high. Using the TPS setting in the manual for where it is supposed to be at idle, mine idles over 1000.
You can lower your idle by adjusting the idle screw. Its a phillups on the starboard side of the intake manifold.
Do you have a hot foot? Sometimes they are not adjusted correctly to let the throttle pull all the way back.

It did have a hot foot on it and I had them remove it before I bought it. I will check these things out. Thanks for all of the info.
