I have a problem. I just bought a used boat with a 01' yama 200 efi. When driving the boat I can trim the motor to far out of the water. Isn't there supposed to be some kind of trim limiter that keeps the motor from trimming past a certain point I think the limiter is tied in to the rmp's. I was running about 5800 rpm's when this happened and when the motor came up to high the motor over-reved and and shut down to around 1500 rmps. after that the motor still ran fine with 100 to 105 psi compression on all cylinder's. Do you think the previous owner may have unhooked somthing, or is it another problem? thanks for the help.
