It looks like the wife and I are gonna be in the New Orleans area toward the end of July. I'd like to take a trip down to the coast to do a day of inshore fishing for specs and redfish. Do any of you guys have a guide that you'd recommend?

I would try to find something in Venice. How many people?
There will just be the wife and I, we hope to do a half day trip.

If it for half a day, get someone out of Slidell or Lafitte. If you go to Venice, you will be driving more than fishing.
Hopedale is a short ride, so is Delacroix and they both have gret guides. Contact info is listed on the Sportsman as stated earlier.
