i have replaced the fuel pump, rebuilt the carbs and put new plugs in it. if you ease on the hotfoot its like it floods its self out. you can mash the gas and she'll run great. whats the deal? i'm ready to take a ball bat to it. sorry for the rant.![]()

How did you set the float drop? Did you do a sync and lync on it per the manual?> These thinks might help point you in the right direction.
the mechanic at david fritts outdoors has done all the work. so i'm not sure if he did the sync and lync per manual.

Take the linkage off the throttle that goes to the timer base carefully as the linkage presses in to the plastic clip. Make sure the timer base moves smoothly with no binds. Move the hot foot and make sure the cable isn't binding. Check idle timing in a test tank and make sure when you are getting ready to take off the exhaust relief holes are above water level (trim up slightly).
thanks champ. i'll try messing with it this afternoon.![]()
