Seems like fuel issues but not sure

I have a 1995 Evinrude Intruder , 175hp. The last time I was out on the boat when I would take the boat out of idle it would sputter a little and shut down. If I would idle it higher and then put it into gear it would run. I also had a hard time getting on plane with the livewells full and my partner in the boat, that is the first time that has happened. The only thing that I have done different is I started to put the Sta-Bil ethanol treatment into the tank? Any suggestions?

Expand your horizons try 60 * motors, heat soak, motor won't take off etc. It boils down to hot air temps, hot temps under the motor cover and crummy gas. Before you start after fishing pump the primer bulb to put some fresh cool fuel in the vapor tank and then hit the choke when you take off.
