    3M products for gelcoat restoration

I was thinking of wet sanding my 98 Ranger b/c the gelcoat has lost it's shine esp on the top. Not had the time to go through all of that lately and wanted to know if any of you have used or recommend trying something called 3M Fiberglass restorer and wax OR 3M Marine color/glass restorer. Both are listed as med to heavy oxidation remover.

The boat is typical of a 10+ year old boat where the gelcoat is dull. I have few scratches that I'd like to fix. The boat is red/maroon so they show up well. I just don't have the time to wet sand and all that it requires, but also don't want to waste my money getting this stuff if it doesn't really do the trick.

    Any thoughts?

    Ranger B
