Sacandaga Pike Contest

Fished a small bass/pike tournament this past weekend on Sacandaga. Felt pretty good about measuring in a 31" pike and taking the lead with 2 hrs to go. Then I got to the weigh in station at 4............ two separate guys each brought in 45" pike!!! Was amazing to even see fish that big. Ended up getting 4th place with 3rd place coming in just shy of 32".

*Bass were very tough to come by for us this weekend and it looked to be the same for everyone there as the biggest bass entered was around 18" compared to the 19.5" winner just a couple months prior

Will be heading there on the 23rd. for the BFL Super T . Never fished the lake before .Any info would be appreciated .

trust me you dont want any bass fishing pointers from me on that lake this time of year, i couldnt buy a bite last weekend
