Well, I've spent the past two weekends on Ouachita and can report that fishing was rather tough, although I managed to boat a few. We even managed to find a few on beds and a few cruisers in warmer water. It took 19 pounds to win Fishers of Men, and I'm a ways from that. Hope the wetaher cooperates this weekend ...

It's still nine feet below normal pool elevation. I went out Saturday and then Sunday it had dropped six inches from the day before. We've seen some big fish we assume are stripers on the graph.
