Lake Ouachita

Has anyone been to lake Ouachita this week and did you do ???

Spent all day Sunday the 7th, only caught 3 bass and 1 grass pike. Had to deal with 25 mph wind most of the day. Water temp was 49.2. Fish were caught on Carolina rig and jig. It was a pretty tuff day.

Heard it took 20 plus to win the ABA this past weekend---damn, thats way out of my league

I couldn't catch 20lbs if I stayed all week.

Fished with red crank baits and lip-less crank baits on the outside og the grass in 16 to 20 foot of water. Caught fish most of the day, with the biggest being 3lbs. 9oz.

I have a tournament there in February. It is the one I dread every year. Maybe we'll figure something out between now and then.
