I read Lockjaw's post about the Ficht reed cages with Boysens on a 150. Hypothetically, could this mod be done on a 200 Johnson using Ficht reed cages from a 200 Ficht or 225 and Boysen's reeds.
I read Lockjaw's post about the Ficht reed cages with Boysens on a 150. Hypothetically, could this mod be done on a 200 Johnson using Ficht reed cages from a 200 Ficht or 225 and Boysen's reeds.
I did some looking, the reeds are the same for a carb and ficht engine on the 200's. On the brp site the reed cage assemblies are different, according to part numbers.
I would see if you can get 1 cage from a recycler from a ficht engine and see if it is rubber coated.
