I have a 1990 Stratos 201 pro and I am in need of a new steering cable. Wondering if anyone knows what length to get and how hard is it to install myself. I currently have it at a boat repair shop but the cables are 2 to 3 weeks out. It is a dual rack system.
They will measure it for you I can get you a length 2morrow as I have a 90 201 pro also just let me know
Marine shop told me it was a 14 foot. Thanks for the help
I am not as familiar with the 201, but had to remove the outboard to replace mine. Otherwise, it is not too difficult.
You shouldn't have to remove the motor just the tube's bolted to the front of the engine.
