    NoAl Chapter sign up to fish Smith Lake in January

    It looks like Smith Lake has been selected as the lake to fish for our monthly tournament on the 19th of January. We'll need to select a ramp to fish out of as well, so please make your suggestion(s) when you sign up.


    Addendum: It looks like Speegle's is the overall choice for launch sites. We'll plan on meeting at 5:45 or 6:00 for registration and go from there.

    Addendum: Everyone please remember that this month's tournament will be held on January 26th in lieu of the 19th!!

    I know a few weeks ago Speegles still had a ramp open. I'm sure there are others.

    I finally got my 30 days in on the board. So if anyone needs a partner let me know. Also I can pre fish any day next week but Thursday

    Good job Terry, I was going get him to fish Pickwick with me a couple month ago but i had a killer toothe ache and had to miss it.

    I'm not sure I'd take it to the bank, yet. They were also calling for snow showers this past weekend, too, and it ended up being in the mid-50's both days.

    Not sure of how low it accutally is but I have heard the water has risen enough that some ofthe previous closed ramps are open. maybe after this rain this week it will rise more and maybe make those spots bite.

    According to the AL Pwr Site Smith is at 491.98 vs. 510.00 full pool.
    It was 2-3 feet lower but has been rising the last week or two.
