Intruder oiling problem

Hey guys my 1998 Evinrude Intruder 150 mod #E1506GLECD,Has been smoking a little more than normal I noticed it the last couple times out and it also seems to be using more XD 50 oil anyways i checked it out this morning and noticed the gas tank had oil mixed in it and i have never pre mixed the gas,can the oil tank syphen back thru to the gas tank?thats the only thing i think could be happening,if thats the case what do i need to do to fix it?any help would be appreciated..

Over oiling is good, better than no oiling. Vro is on the way out time for a new OMS/VRO. Talk to your dealer to see if you can qualify to replace yourself and have warranty cover if you have a failure again.

You can do it if your are so inclined, just make sure if you choose to do so that the dealer will comp you if the unit fails with in a years time.
