New to the forum, I have a 1992 175hp Fast Strike on a 1992 Hydra-Sports L180. I have owned the rig over 5 years and have not had to touch the engine other than change LU lube and plugs (neither actually needed done). This is the first outboard I had since 1978 so I will have more questions later, I'm sure.

My current question is: Is my "Fast Strike" any different from other OMC 175's other than the decals? I have heard all kinds of story lines on this subject.
