When our club was first set up at the first AP rally we had about 15 folks in attendance at the organizational meeting and 7:00 AM was chosen as our start time.
We have had I believe 4 events and at each one we have had a low murmur of discontent about starting at 7:00 so I reckon it is time to see how folks feel now.
We have 67 members registered as club members I would like to see a majority vote to make any change.

I would say safe light......up to tourney director......with an adendum........that anybody that whines about what safe light is......they have to start at 7 am.....

I am with CE on this one. Ed, you made a valid point about "safe light" being a subjective issue. I agree. It is. However, we simply make it a rule that anyone that complains about the tournament director's call gets pummeled mercilessly with citrus fruits, has to stand and be attacked by a german shepherd, or gets thrown out of the boat and swims with the gators. That should quiet the masses!
Make the decision the night before...any complaining afterward gets you beaten mercilessly by the enforcement squad
Safe light sounds good to me as well, with the caveat that "safe light" depends on conditions in the AM.
