Look at the end of your standard cable and there will be a number on it which will tell how long it is. Then just get a new 2' longer made for your motor. Boat US or any marine shop should have them.

may i suggest getting a new cable before pullin old one out,u can tape them together and pull new one thru or u can tie a rope to old one and pull it thru and see how long u need if not sure and use rope to pull new one.
