Rear corners after bumping stumps pop loose. I push them back in place until the next time I bump a stump. MY question is, can water get in between the cap sections on a Triton if I don't notice until I get home? Thanks for your help

The hull and cap should be glass together but a bead of silicone wouldn't hurt a thing.
