E-TEC 60 Degree Engines Water Intrusion on top of flywheel after rain storm?

I have a 2007 175. I have notice when the motor is up and there is a rain storm, there is water siiting in the flywheel. This is probably not a good situation. I asked the dealer and he said it was happening to all of the 60 degree engines he has sold. He said he brought it the attention of BRP and they did not know it was a problem or a fix. Any of the dealers out their have this problem and is their a fix?

    Thanks,

We see some of this on our commercial guys. 99% of our sporties purchase the cloth motor cover. I know its not the fix you want to hear, but they are a very nice cover. You can try and run a bead of caulk at the base of the black splash plate.
