I've caught a few now, but had not stunk up the livewell yet. Went out yesterday and caught some schooling pretty hard, wanted to get a picture of this one but they were still busting shad so I threw him in the livewell just so I could keep fishing. He wasn't big, maybe 15" or so, but a football. But he should have been 20" long, poor crooked back fish.

I also decided on a name for the Stroker- Shine. Couple of reasons. For one, nothing shines like a Stroker. FLW is on Lake Wylie this weekend, they were setting up the weigh in trailer yesterday when I was coming off the lake. The two men and a lady setting up were staring at the boat as I pulled it out of the ramp and stopped to tie it down. They commented that they had never seen one, asked about it and apologized for staring but it was a good looking boat. Then I showed them the hand held which read 92.2 today ( a little windy out),

they dropped their jaws on that one. Like I said, nothing shines like a Stroker.

But the main reason I decided to name it Shine is to pay homage to Chub and also my Dad, both of them having a past associated with moonshine liquor, or 'Shine' as it usually referred to. I think it just fits.

My second choice for a name was 'Lickity Split', but Lauren recalled that I had used that saying in a innuendo before so she wasn't too crazy about that one.
