    Top Speed drop

How many mph does your boat loose in the heat of the summer 95+ vs a cool spring or fall day?

    Re: Top Speed drop (ep72)

After reading this I realized that mine has lost about the same. I couldn't figure out why. What causes this?

Hot air is less dense, holds less O2 per cu ft. Hotter air also holds more humidity. All of this affects horsepower.
