Installing a ComforTroll?

Hello all, New guy on the block here, just wondering if anyone has ever installed a comfortoll insert into the deck of a 1997 282 stratos? Is there any structual problems with cutting into the deck?

Deck should be fine..Should be nothing under it in the way, but look back under the deck with a light and mirror from the bow opening....Just will want to measure from the front of the deck to the front of the storage compartment and try to keep it in front of the compartment wall if possible...If not, then have to cut the compartment wall to make room..

Thanks for the info, I will check and measure the front deck. Can't wait until the ice thaws out to get out and try this boat. I will have the recesses tray install by then and I will let you know how it all turns out.
