hey guys i have a 99 ZX195 with a 200 Vmax 10in slidmaster that i bought a few months ago . when i got the boat it had a hydrofoil stabilizer on it and of course i took it off knowing that the boat didnt need it to perform properly
now i know y it was on the boat....the boat is porposing as soon as it falls over and gets on plane if i hold it wot long enough in a straight line after a half mile or so it will smooth. that is until i head into a left hand turn right had turns are nt so bad
i have tried raising the jackplate up to the point that i was losing water pressure in the turns and as low as the jackplate will go. thats where i currently have it now. When i run the boat alone it does ok but when i add weight the porpsing gets bad... im not sure of the engine height but i have tried 2 diffrent props 24 powertech and a 25 tempest plus i get the same results with both props the only thing that helps is the foil and i know that this boat should run great without it... i have alot of seat time in a boat just like this one and have owned 5 bass boats in the last 10yrs so i know the basics of driving a boat...please help
also the only way that i can prevent porposing without the foil is to turn the boat hard right when it starts falling over onto plane at wot then its ok until i head into a curve and any small change will start the porposing ..
any help would be appreciated...<><![]()
