Just purchased a '99 zx202c w/ a 200 Yamaha Vmax and 12" Jack Plate and took it out for the first time last weekend on Toledo Bend.
I am having a problem w/ it porposing at lower speeds and in rougher water and am looking for any tips to correct this. The previous owner had one of those fins mounted on the engine, which I promptly removed. I don't believe it was Skeeter's intent to have one of these mounted on the motor.

Should I keep the motor trimmed all the way down until I am ready to really lay on the power?

Any advice is appreciated.
