Just looking for some advice/ info re: jack plate hight on standard zx 200 w/ series 2 HDPI 200. how high are you running what prop? I have the 25 TI. I am new to setting up ad don't want to waste time and mess with a good thing. I have 6 little dots above the plate

most of the ones I set up ended up with around 8 showing, some had 9, but 8 is a good start. You have the right prop, you can send it to Mark for a little work and it'll get better.
Im running the same boat with 5 dots showing from the factory. I have a wedge plate between the motor and the jackplate. Does yours?? Love the way the boat handles. Hard, tight 90 degree turns to the right are kinda tricky. Wondered if i could gain a little speed without the wedge as i would have another inch or so of trim. I assume the wedge helps holeshot as the motor is tucked tighter under the boat?
yes, they have the wedge. jack it up and have some fun.
you can put a hydrofoil on your boat and accomplish alot more. I've got a zx225, and have had several others. SE sport 300 is the one I use. It'll cut your gas usage alot too. Cuts your holeshot time in half.
I'm currently running the JP at the center of the 7th dot. 07 ZX200, 200 VMax Series one, same prop. I still have good water pressure, and I'm planning on playing with it some more this summer - going to 8 or 9 dots. I don't have any kind of wedge on the plate.
i have a 08 zx200. 7 dots showing, about 3" below pad as i measure. the 25t1 is the best speed prop, mines been repaired, but my TXP turbo 3 blade 25 is the best all around and only alittle slower top end but mid range {after on plane } will make you smile. tryed to come up higher on the plate but the props break loose when coming on plane and in hard turns. dont put a hydrofoil crap on your boat! if they needed them they would come with one. makes boats drive like a old ladys car. when you adjust your plate shake and push the motor around and make sure it is even on both sides.

My ZX200 with HyTech ECU and throttle arm plus carbon reeds, NOTHING else...
is 2 inches below pad turning a 27 TXP (27 TXP) 5,950 at running with most 225s...
72+ all day half load and have kissed 74.6 a couple times...
