I bought a '96 201 Stratos with a 225 Evinrude earlier this year. The boat is in great shape and has been well maintained.

The tilt/trim lurches the first few times you move it on a fishing trip, and then it's ok, but seems a little slow. No leaks or evidence of leaks that I can find. I figure the fluid in it is original.

I was wondering about the procedure for checking the level, adding fluid if needed, and/or flushing it out with new fluid.
