I have a 1996 Evinrude Intruder 150 Model#E150GLEDB. Sunday morning when I was hooking up to leave the house i noticed a small amount of fluid on the trim tab and the round area of the tab where it bolts into the underside of the antiventilation (I think that is what this piece is called) just above the prop. I am not sure what this is or how serious is it. Is this fluid from the gear case or is it trim fluid. The fluid was kinda clear and smelled like maybe hydraulic fluid. I did not see any fluid trails to the actual trim units so it has left me puzzled. Any thoughts or reccomendations are welcome

It was a small amount of fluid and the boat had been sitting for 6 weeks. The boat ran fine SUnday with no issues. I washed the boat yesterday afternoon and there was no fluid this morning but i just took aquick look with the flashlgiht and will inspect throroughly tonight when I get home
