It's a good idea on all the Venom engines to up the high speed jet size on all the carbs. This allows all the cylinders to run a bit richer on the top end. Some engines came w/ 67, those were stepped up to 69. I personally would run the engine after each change to "feel" the performance.
Thanks the 69 have been in there since i have hade it. should i just leave it the way it is aall 69? Thanks Mike
If it has been rebuilt, there may be just one jet that is oversize if there is piston that was replaced and bored out. If the 69 is only on one carb, it might not hurt to use 69 thru the whole engine. The overall performance may improve. It's really a judgement call. When I build a big bore, I rarely do just one cylinder. I'm picky.
thank you for all your help
I pulled all jets and they were all 69. I will just leave them, as it runs well.![]()
After all, It's been runnin; since 96'. That's a really good thing! Any way you cut it!![]()
