Fair enough. I've got a bilge immediately in front of my my motor and only have my separator and bilge pump in there, so I was wondering if you had one too. I don't mean to jump on ya, and bash your work; that's not my intent.

But it's more than loose battery terminals that could cause a spark- STG, corrosion, whatever that black plug is to the left of your separator...you get my drift. Just don't let dumping gas on your battery be your proof that you won't have a problem with "boom boom." You could submerge the battery in gasoline and not have an issue because there wouldn't be a spark, as there'd be continuity through the fuel, and liquid fuel itself isn't that flamable; gaseous fuel is. It's the spark vs. the fumes issue. I've read guys on here that won't run the gas heater in their garage for fear of sparking fuel fumes from their boats.

Hey man, it's cool. Just making an observation.
