Finally got one of my projects finished-took 5 years

    I started a logsplitter 5 years ago.
Took an 6' I beam and welded the wedge and cylinder mount to it.
There it sat until about a month ago.
I'm getting too old to split wood with a wedge and sledge.
Decided I would finish it but wanted it to tip horizontal and vertical.
So I had to cut all the old work off the I beam and start over as the wedge has to be at the cylinder end instead of the other end.
After spending $500.00 in parts it's finished and working, but is built stronger than the 1200.00 units Lowes sells.
    Will get some pics posted.
