HELP! I've got a 150TL78S Johnson (1978 150hp) that currently runs a Detmar single cable rack steering system and have found a deal on a used Teleflex dual cable rack steering system. The deal includes helm, rack and cables as well as steering wheel and hardwarel. What do I need on the O/B in order to use the new steering system? I've looked at the Teleflex site and it refers me to Johnson. Looked at the parts breakdown on the Johnson site and it doesn't help this ole dumb redneck much. Can you experts help me out here? Anyone got any good used parts they'd like to get rid of? I really need to find out before I send the $$ for the new system. Hate to buy something that ends up being worthless cause I can't find the rest of what I will need!
