2007 Skeeter ZX 190 - Water coming up through Driver Console

I was wondering if anyone could offer any assistance. I got my ZX 190 back in Nov. 07 and have had no issues except for the last 3 times out. I am suddently having water that is coming out from the console seem (it appears). This rush of water only ocurrs when under way and once bilged out does not seem to come in when sitting still fishing. I do not see anything under the hull that I would percieve to be the cause of this and am at a loss.

Does anyone have any ideas on what to look for or where this water could be coming from? It is a good amount of water and not something I can just let continue.

It sounds like the speedo cable is loose at the back of the gauge

Yep,
I would guess it is the line that runs to the back of the speedo. The speedo uses water pressure to make it work.

Yep, used to happen to my previous Skeeter now and again. The speedo hose comes lose and water squirts on you. Should be easy enough to just push it back on, but if the hose has become brittle or stretched you may be able to cut a bit off the end if there is good rubber still there. If not, you may want to put a tie wrap around it or possibly replace the hose.

I would see if there was a way to unhook that speedo hose somehow. They are worthless anyway.

Yep.....Check the water pressure gauge hose also.
