Hi all, I am interested in a used ZX190c with a Pro V 150.
The boat I have know is always having engine problems, so I want a reliable engine on a solid boat.
All of the boats I have looked at have had a DI engine except this Skeeter. I understand that the Pro V is a solid motor that is still be used today (the Vmax Carb I believe), but am not really sure what the pros and cons are.
I know that gas is more efficent in a DI, but how much?
What are the other major differences and what should I take into consideration.
I think I am willing to wait for another used boat to come along with a DI motor on it, but if it is not a really big deal I will give this ZX some serious thought.
Any advice will be GREATLY appreciated!
