Z-21 250 hpdi guys-what kinda prop you running and what kinda performance are you getting? just pick up a 06 Z21 with a 250 hpdi with a 10" hydro plate running a 25P T1 B&B'd. Haven t had a chance to open it up yet but I also got a 27P T1 wondering what the best performance will be? Thanks For the help

    Re: Z21 W/250 HPDI owner question (Jigworm73)

I have the exact same set-up with the 25P T1 vmax prop.
I'm very happy with performance seems to be a good balance between hole shot and top end. I think if you change one way or the other you will loose bottom or top end depending on which way you go. I now have a very good hole shot and have ran 72.5 GPS top end by myself full load, I could get a little better with non-ethanol gas and less weight just have not tried.

The T1 25 does a great job on most all of the 250 Yam Z21 combo, the only other prop u might try would be a 25 Fury, but the T1 will be hard to beat.

I'm running a 25p on a 250 HPDI with a 6" jackplate. I like the hole shot and topend speeds.. It'll hit 72 GPS if I am alone. This is on a 521VX Commanche

    Re: Z21 W/250 HPDI owner question (Jigworm73)

I can run my 25t1 up to like 5700 rpms. I couldnt run the 27 over I would say 5350 and the handling was crap at high speeds anywhere I went with the plate. The 25 is the way to go, just have mark add a little cup and you're golden
