    New Bullet Owner--Set-up Question?

I just bought an '08 20XRD w/ Merc 250XS, it has the Sportmaster lower w 1.62 gears. The prop on it is a 27TXP and it has a Hydro Dynamics jackplate, not sure if it is a 12 or 14, it measures 13 1/2". Where would be a good starting point for the prop shaft hieght, it appears to be 1" below pad. Thanks....

I would start at 1.25" above the pad. I would be happy to help you get it set up and I have some props you can run also.

I live between Gilmer and Pittsburg. You can reach me on my cell at 903-563-2800.

My previous boat was a z20 Ranger, so this is a big change, but just feels very sluggish out of the hole.

Does your TXP have any vent holes in it? Get that motor raised up and it will help.
