I bought a 1995 461 vs 2 years ago. Everything I read says it has 2 x 20 gal tanks. The previous owner swears in only has one 20 gal. I have looked for the valve to switch tanks. Is there something I am missing? How do y'all switch from one tank to the other? I was just wondering if they made some with only a single tank. thanks in advance.
I have a 97 461V and it has 2 tanks. My buddy has a 96 461 and his has 2 tanks. Mine has 2 fuel inlets, one on each side. The tank switch for mine is located below the throttle. One his 96 I think it was located at the base of the bench seats. They may have made them with only one 20 gallon tank but I can't imagine it.
The tank switch on my 2001 462 is located in the middle, just below the bench seat.

My '97 has 2x20. The Switch is right below the throttle. There are two Gas caps on the port (passenger) side of the the boat marked "P" and "S".
I only have one gas cap. There is nothing under the bench seat and I am almost positive there is not anything near the throttle. Guess I just have 1 x 20
I have never heard of one tank in a 461 but one gas entry hose suggests that. Pull your seat and see what is under there - maybe someone forgot to install the the other
I had a 95 model and mine had 1 tank that was 41 gallons.
What's your hull number? Are you sure you have a '95?

I have a 99 462vs and have 2o gal tanks. Switch is on seatseat base in the middle.

I have a 97' 461vs. 2 x 20 tanks on port side.
I have a 1996 Ranger one gas cap on port side and one on starboard side. By the way my papers say my boat is 18ft 9 in .
