was running a 26p fury on my 721 250 Pro xs and only averaging 66-67 mph. Put on a 25p fury and now hitting over 75 mph!!! Cannot believe the prop made that much differencebut it did. holeshot is better and boat more responsive.

whats your rpms now with the 25

You had a junk 26F then. Most boats wont show a 100 RPM difference in a 25/26F mine is about 75 rpm diff. 25F is .5mph faster.
rpms with the 25p fury are 6000 plus depending on the jackplate height. running on 5 on the digital gauge and max rpms are just under 6000 and 75 mph. I think I had a bad prop as well. boat is way more responsive. water was really rough with skiers and i'm sure to get more speed in the fall.
If you're turning 6000 with the heat this past weekend, you'll have problems staying out of the rev limiter this fall when it cools off. I had one that would do that a couple of boats ago, I had to back out of it every time the alarm went off.

Hey Scott who up there works on props? I had my old boat worked on at Aqua and they sent the prop to someone to shine up. I would like to get someone to look at it and see if it needs work besides the little nicks and stuff that need to be filed down. Then I could just put it back on.

I've used both (Art more times) but neither in quite some time.

I'll probably have to wait until Sept. If you want to try to work on the setup of your boat or try mine out, we might want to do it this weekend. I'm headed to a tournament in OK after that and will be gone a couple of weekends.
