First problem with motor.......

I was going WOT and motor sputtered and dropped 1000K RPMs. It's a 2001 Johnson 150 carbed. Obviously running on 5 cylinders. Changed plugs out , and no change. Took it to a local marine with a good rep.

I have had this boat for 3 years. I bought as a repo, and I have had no problems!!! Serial # for motor on paper work is G04936979. Any info would be great!

My Questions>>>>What am I looking at? Some suggestions so I can carry on a conversation when they call with the diagnosis.

As long as compression is good then possibly a bad coil or a power pack. BTW welcome to the site.
