Was at the local ramp today at LOZ and ran up on this. Not sure what happened, not sure I want to know. Just thought you might get a kick out of the photos.

Hon did you set the parking brake ! NO WHY![]()
Other possibility very steep ramp that is wet and a non 4x4 who knows, start of the season and it happens all the time.![]()
Looking at the pic it still looks like the engine is running. Maybe they were able to salvage it. I worked at a very large marina with lots of big boats during my high school and college days and I can't tell you how many times I've see people having some serious issues at the ramp. Heck, on busy days we would eat lunch down by the ramp just to watch and bet who and what would happen next!![]()

Some of my fondest moments have been at boat ramp when a summertime pop-up shower chases everyone in to load. Fond memories when I wasn't one of the boaters, of course!![]()
That looks like one hell of a nice EXCURSION he's trying to ruin in order to launch that useless boat. (definition of useless - boat without trolling motor is useless).
Ed... the way to solve the non 4x4 on a steep, wet ramp. Once you line up the rig to back down the ramp - put your vehicle in "Drive" and use the brake to control it while it's rolling back. Works like a charm to maintain control without sliding into the drink.
