I'm considering this option when I order. How well does it hold up? What is the option cost? Is it worth the cost?
Thanks

I have it on mine. If I remember correctly it was a $300 option. The padding is thick and very soft. Having had a back, knee, and two neck surgeries I think it was well worth the investment.![]()

The padded deck is well worth the money. Easy on the legs and the carpet still looks great after a year and a half.
I have a 10 year old 2100 Bumblebee with the deck pad. Worth every penny and holds up extremely well, mine still looks and feels great.

After fishing out of the Phoenix and seeing how much difference it made on my knees and back, I wish I would have thought of putting it in my current boat.

Don't think so. Had it on the Ranger that I just sold and it dried at the same rate the rest of the carpet did. It's a different padding than we use in our homes so my thinking is that since it's for a marine application that it must be less apt to hold moisture.
An hour in the sun and it was as dry as a chip. The beating your back and knees avoid makes it a well spent $300.

It's worth every penny. That combines with the recessed TM pedal is wonderful. I stood on the deck sun up to sun down for 6 days straight and my feet, knees and back felt fine.
I have it on my Skeeter and I think it is great. When I fish out of my partner's boat (back deck - no padding), I can tell the difference in my back and knees. Given the choice again, I would spend the extra and get the padding again.
As far as drying, I see no difference in the time it takes to dry.
The padding is a great option and well worth the money in my opinion.
