    Kudos to Phoenix

I sent an email to Teresa Johnson, inquiring about a boat. She not only replied right away, she had an employee ( I think his name was Lance) to call me the same day. Nice customer service. Thanks

As a boat dealer, I have to say this is a first class outfit as well! Doesn't matter who answers the phones, they know the answer! We just sold a 295 SuperVee yesterday with a 200 E-Tech, it ran at top speed of 85.8mph. Customer came back as soon as he left the lake to tell us how much he loved his Bee Line.

I kinda have to agree with that statement.

Personally with our GPS and the test run of this boat, I had it at 79 mph. Customer came back and told us he had it 85.8. I was not in the boat then, but was in the boat when it ran 79 mph, I was driving.

    I have a 295 Bee-Line with a 200 opti! I haven't pushed mine that far but I would agree with the high 70's.

Would like to know his set up!

    Re: (EASTWOOD)

thats prety good with a load!! you should see i would say 77 empty. And if you play with your set up and your prop you should hit 80 empty, but I think for a tourny boat you have it just about right. try adjusting the jack plate a little and see if you can hit 74. I'd say your RPM are ok I would like to see you hit 5800. But for the boat you have 71 is GREAT.

    Re: (carcass dragger)

I don't think we are trying to BS anyone. One customer claims the 295 ran 85mph which most of us find hard to believe (it may have been a speedo reading, not GPS, even then)...but the mid to high 70's is very doable with the right set-up and driver. I know at the plant we ran 72-73 (light load) consistantly with the set-up we ship at. So some of you expert set-up guys I am sure can pull some mph's from somewhere.

Like I have said before, being from the north, we take comfort over speed any day.
