Thought you guys might appreciate a conversation I had at the lake with a gentlemen. .....A few years back I was putting my 2100 on the trailer at a ramp on Percy Priest Lake. Roark Summerford, who designs hulls for Earl Bentz was there running a prototype they had just built. He asked if he could look at my boat, which, after my permission, he did in extreme detail. He was all over the boat, and in every compartment and behind every panel. Finally he looked over at me and said, "Ben we could not build a boat to this demanding detail or construction. If we did it would cost twice what we charge now". He was very impressed with the liner system. He and I discussed how boats with exposed foam would gain weight through the years because of moisture absorption, and the fact that if a Gambler liner is not breached, it should weigh the same for countless years. I would have loved to had a video camera going to record the whole thing, but then, Roark would have probably not been nearly as forthcoming.
