yes. They are attached by some bolts thru the driver side and passenger side rod lockers.

THANKS FOR THE INFO... LAST QUESTION, HOW MANY BOLTS? I WAS GONNA USE FOUR ON EACH SIDE.

I think that would be just fine. I don't recall if it was 3 or 4 bolts that was used to install the inserts. Should be just fine though.

If your deck extention is/was a stock item from cobra/viper then it may have pre-drilled holes. You may have to look below the extension to see them. My full deck extention, the one that's not enclosed, had two predrilled holes on each side. I drilled out the holes to accomondate 5/16" (fine thread) dia. SS hardware. I've had it on for 6 years. I know it has been stress tested at 500 lbs with me and my "BIG" brother on it. The less holes in your fiberglass the better. Just my 2 cents worth.
