Just wanted to say thanks for all the answers you guy have given me with my questions with this project. So here are my pictures. It took some work but I think it really turned out great and I finally have the storage I need and a huge deck.
I had to leave a gap in the left side so my rod locker could open.

Yep I was lucky with that. I recarpeted the boat two years ago and had enough left over so the match was perfect.

That looks great. I have plans to recarpet my boat and wanted to do the same thing, but could not figure out how to work around the rod locker, which is like yours. It looks great.
