I've searched back through the forum on this topic and have seen it discussed on about every hull other than the 210. I'd like to know where yours is mounted ... pix would also be great![]()

Our bilges may be different but I will say getting some L shaped brackets where It could be mounted on a ledge instead of a wall opened up several new options for me.
I stumbled across some trailer light mounting brackets in the store the other day that have proven to be the solution for mounting a couple of things now.

Thats what I was thinking of in my 210..If I could mount a bracket on the lip edge of the bilge area where the lid rests i could have it secured and keep it thin enough to not interfere with shutting the lid..Other than that I cant find a good place to put a Water seperator close to the existing fuel line..I am not drilling any more holes in my side wall..

I think they are Mark, but your mounting brackets may be the answer. Got a brand & part #?

About the only place I found was on the side aft of the Mega Link. It would take some cleaning up of the wiring that the dealer just kind of bundled up and tied to the side, but the BIG drawback would be I'd have to stand on my head to change it ...![]()
The boat dealer recommended putting it there on my boat but that would require alot more length of hose to rout in, around and back out to get to the engine..Dont know what that would do to fuel pressure or vaccum pressure but it is the only area available in our bilge area. I wish someone had a picture of what they did to there 210. I havent had one for 3 years and it has not caused any issues with performance, I treat fuel and burn it all out before filling it up.
Wonder what they are using on the 2011 Elites?
I'm not sure these were fancy enough to have a brand or a part number.![]()
They are for mounting the old style enclosed box lights.
Auto parts store or an Ag trailer store should have em.
I got mine at Gibsons which only I can do because I think we're the only ones around who still have a Gibsons!![]()
Great store! Like a trip back in time.

Does it have the back wall like ours that has every kind of nut, bolt, screw, fastener known to man?
I could live on that wall !![]()

I don't know if your back compartment is like mine, but I mounted it right in the middle of the plastic cover that covers the back of the livewells. I added a couple of screws to the plastic cover so it wouldn't fall off. It has worked very well. The lift pumps work just fine with the xtra hose.
Hey Reg on my 193 I used a flat piece of thin plate and drilled 2 holes in it and used the ends of the bolts that mount the motor and used 2 nuts and secured it. Mounted the seperator onto it. I wish I would have took pictures but I didn't worked great and didn't have to drill any holes in there.
