    Rectifier/Regulator on an '88 70hp

    I just received my new regulator today and I'm going to attempt to install it myself. How difficult might this be? Is it under the flywheel??

    Again, I have a 1988 Evinrude 70hp VRO (disconnected) 3cyl.

    Your motor does not use a regulator, just a simple diode rectifier
