thats cool man reminds me of the first trip with mine and kids she would let me open it up so we ran around porposing 1 1/2 footers all afternoon when she said lets go to the ramp i just couldnt take it any more and a storm was coming in so i told her i was going to show her why i choose a champ
rode back at wot smooth a calm water she stayed mad for about a half hour then said
in all the boats she had ridin in not one could do what the champion had just done and said she would never let me buy another brand ever
Took mine out in the '00 191 SC Tournament yesterday.....thought she was on a $10 ride at Disneyworld.....eyes wide open.....hair blowing back...and screaming!!
...and I was only running about 47 mph (gps).....
....took a few turns around the lake before she calmed down....
.....got back to the dock and she was like "that boat is amazing!!" I told her
I'd done some reading before we committed to buying it, and knew that it was THE boat to run in chop and on busy waters....
...working on getting used to the trim, etc., but all I can say is "WOW! What a boat!"

My wife prefers pontoon boats, but when we go across the lake in the Champ she sits next to me and holds on to my thigh for dear life. I kinda like that, so I go faster.She admits that it rides better than my truck most of the time.
I hope you get to take her with you many, many, more times. I love to have my wife with me, with or without the kids. We went without the kids a couple weeks ago. She fished some and laid out some and had a good time at both. This past weekend she learned to use a baitcaster. With a little luck ....
One little secret, the stereo I added has been worth it weight in gold as far as enjoyment for her.
Oh yeah, she enjoys the Champ ride a lot compared to the last boat.
